Hot Cross Buns

Yes, the ever-popular Hot Cross Bun drive is on again!  Forms will be sent out in the next week, to be returned on Monday 15 March.  Orders can be picked up from the PAC at pick-up on Wed 24 March.  All funds raised will go to the building of our aquatic centre.

Calling all Year 7 parents!

This is your chance to get involved with your child’s school in a friendship-building, unifying and useful way by being part of the team for this year’s Fete. Our class will be running the Silent Auction, and although sourcing the items for this stall is a whole-school endeavour, we need a leader to coordinate, and a group to assist with the finer details. Everyone’s help is appreciated, and you certainly don’t need to be a Huntingtower expert to be the right person for the job! Please contact Catherine Jenkins (catherine.jenkins@iinet.net.au) if you are available to help out.

AGM & new Committee

The Annual General Meeting for the PTA was on Monday the 22 February 2010 in the PAC.  We were delighted with the turnout of both interested parents and teachers.  Minutes will be distributed to all class and fete reps for your information.

Of particular interest, we would like to welcome our new Committee members for 2010, who bravely put their hands up to help the PTA this year.  A big thank you to Sharee Charett, Kamal Unvala and Phillip Bradwell!  Welcome aboard and we hope to have a fun year ahead.  Existing members continuing on the Committee for this year include Brett Stringer (President), Debbie Jones, Deb Davey, Bernadette Day (co-Treasurer), Dorothy Renai (co-Treasurer) and Catherine Jenkins (Secretary).

In addition, the changes to the PTA Constitution were unanimously voted in by all present at the AGM.

Fete 2010 – Correction to Class Stalls

  • Second Hand Books, Media and Toys – (Yr 10).
  • Coffee (Yr 11 – Kamal Unvala)

Please be aware that Coffee should have been listed as a Yr11 stall and Second hand Books, Media and Toys for Yr 10.  Catherine Jenkins would like to apologise for the confusion in the last Bulletin.
