The HT Athletics Team did themselves proud at both the Division 1 and at the Champions Athletics Carnivals. We were fortunate to have good conditions for both days of competition at Lakeside Stadium. At the Division 1 Carnival, Huntingtower came a very close 4TH place to Donvale Christian College by only 28 points. It should be noted that, at the beginning of 2018, Donvale moved across to the Eastern Division for Weekly Sport as their school population had increased to be comparable with that of the larger schools. That considered, the Huntingtower Team did an amazing job with the Open Girls winning their Age Group Pennant, the Under 13 Girls were 2nd in their Age Group, and overall, the Girls gained 2nd place in that Aggregate Competition too.

Some highlights of the results for the Division 1 Carnival were:

Individual Events:

11 – 1st places

14 -2nd places

14 – 3rd places

4 x 100m Relay Events:

2nd places to Under13 Girls and Open Girls teams

3rd places to Under 13 Bos, Under 14 Girls, & Under 16 Boys.
