VCC BASKETBALL WRAP UP

Thank you to Mr Wes Smith and Mrs Cassandra Benavides who took the Year 10 Boys to the Grand Final at MSAC. With a total of 12 schools in the Division 2 Finals competition, the boys played a series of pool matches. To the boys' credit, they won all their pool rounds, their cross-pool quarter final game and the semi-final game.

In the final, the boys were in the hunt right to the very end and lost by only 8 points. This is the best result that Huntingtower has achieved in the Intermediate competition ever! To highlight how well our boys performed, every team we played against is a part of an elite basketball program at their school. Well done and congratulations to all players and our coach, Mr Smith.
