The Huntingtower P&F team braved a cold, wet start to Saturday August 11 to support the Monash Youth Music Festival (formerly the Waverley Music Eisteddfod). As in years past, this event was well-attended by the Huntingtower community and other schools, which resulted in a terrific outcome for the P&F sausage sizzle. The P&F team were busy serving sausages and sweet treats for the duration and raised $338.35 for the school.

Looking ahead to next year, the Festival will once again be staged in the PAC so we expect an even bigger and better event in 2019. The P&F look forward to setting up shop in front of the MYC and tag-teaming with the Huntingtower Coffee Cart to really maximise the benefit of this featured calendar event.

A note of thanks to Judy Knapp for the MYMF committee for her support and our own Geoff Hardcastle for facilitating setup. Sincere thanks to all P&F members and student help who manned the stall and contributed to a successful day.

The Bensons Mt Waverley Reward Program continues to generate great results for Huntingtower. This month we have received a cheque from Brent and the team for $162.20, a great effort!

We need to continue getting maximum benefit from this generous program.Did you know that Bensons are open for dinner and for functions?Remember, 20% of all dollars spent at Bensons are returned to Huntingtower.

To promote the evening service, Bensons are generously offering, until 30 September, a BUY ONE MAIN MEAL GET ONE FREE deal. That's right, one main meal free when another is purchased for dinner.Plus, the 20% offer still applies! This is an amazing offer so please support Bensons with their latest 2 for 1 offer and maximise the benefit for Huntingtower.

PS:Remember to show your Bensons card.No problem if you don't have your card – simply mention you are a member of the Huntingtower community and Bensons will honour the donation on your purchase.Let's make the most of this fantastic program!

As always, P&F extend our sincere thanks to Brent and his team for their support of our School.
