The Huntingtower Swimming Club held its first Aggregate event on Friday 8 June. 41 swimmers attended and competed in 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m events. Each event is worth 1, 2, 3 or 4 points. Each club member gets 1 point for attending and going forward will earn 1 point for every PB achieved. With separate categories for 8&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U, 16&U and open there will be opportunities for all club members to win the annual aggregate trophies based on attendance, participation and PB''''s.
Following the Aggregate, 31 swimmers attended the Maribyrnong Mantas Encouragement Meet on Sunday 17 June at MSAC. Denis Lynn won gold in five events (on his birthday) and Phoebe Clark brought home gold, silver, and two bronzes. In total, Huntingtower achieved 10 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze and 46 personal best times were achieved by members including HT students Abby Harrington, Ben Gough, Campbell Gough, Chris Campbell, Claire Campbell, Clare Carroll, Elaina Nikolakakis, Emma Carroll, James Cookson, Kaitlin Hele, Louise Chau, Matt Bradwell, Mia Dieckmann, Polina Nikolakakis and Sophie Cookson.
