EISM WINTER SPORTS WRAP UP Congratulations to the students and coaches who were involved in last week’s EISM Winter Sport Grand Finals.  Over two afternoons, Huntingtower hosted Grand Final matches, participated in six finals contests, and came home with five trophies and premiership pennants. SCHOOL AEROBICS Congratulations to the 2015 Huntingtower School Aerobics Team who qualified for the State Finals in this year’s competition.  The girls travelled to Geelong for both the qualifying and finals days.  The team came 3rd in their competition which placed them 10th overall.  They did a fantastic job and showed a huge improvement from their first competition just three weeks ago.  Special thanks go to Mrs Jane Barker for her work with the costumes, Mrs Carla Smith for her time and enthusiasm in training and preparing the team and to all the parents for their support of our students. ATHLETICS WRAP UP Congratulations to all the students in the Huntingtower Athletics Team!  The team finished 3rd in the Division 1 Carnival and, for the second year in a row, brought home the trophy for the ‘Most Improved School’.  This was a marvellous achievement against the much larger schools! SENIOR SUMMER SPORT ROUND UP At the end of the EISM Senior Summer Sport competition, 3 teams qualified for the Grand Final matches.  Congratulations to the students and coaches in the Girls Volleyball B (Ms Alex Neal with Dan Higgins and Phong Nguyen) team for their premiership wins. The Cricket Team (Mr Leigh Parsons) and the Girls Tennis (Mrs Leesa Bos )  were runners up in this competition.
